Sunscreen Application is Flexible, but Not Optional

Sunscreen Application is Flexible, but Not Optional

As I get older the number of times I apply my sunscreen per day continues to increase. This little task that was SO ANNOYING when you were younger will not only protect your skin from sun damage, but it will protect against aging your skin too. According to Healthline.com of UV solar radiation that reaches the earth, 95% are UVA (or aging) rays and only 5% are UVB (or burning) rays. That means that a lot of damage is going to our skin that we aren’t even aware of! This is why it is so important to use a broad spectrum sunscreen that protects agains UVA and UVB rays.

On top of that, UVA rays make it through clouds and glass. If you want to take care of your skin, sunscreen is not an option. But there are several different ways you can apply it so that it’s easy to create your own habit of protecting your skin.

  1. Use your sunscreen lotion mixed with your moisturizer. This creates an easy habit that doesn’t add an extra step. Favorite one HERE.

  2. Get a moisturizer that has SPF so you apply it in one easy step. Favorite one HERE.

  3. Use a tinted moisturizer with SPF so your foundation can work overtime. Favorite HERE.

  4. Keep your sunscreen bottle by the door so that every time you are about to go outside you can add a quick application if you haven’t already. Shop my go to sun HERE.

  5. Pat the face with your mist. Spray mist into your hands and press onto your face for a quick, easy to absorb application. Love THIS MIST for the whole family.

  6. Wear a hat, shirt and get in the shade!
